This is the virtual version of the annual Samson Society Fall Retreat sponsored by Samson House. Pirate Monks gathered on the first weekend in November 2022, at the beautiful Lakeshore Camp and Retreat Center in Eva, Tennessee. It was an amazing time. Now, thanks to the capabilities of modern technology, we are able to present an Online Version of the retreat for those who could not attend. 


Session Leaders

Roane and Eva Hunter LPC, CSAT-S, CMAT-S

Roane & Eva are Bestselling Authors and AACC World Conference Speakers. They are both Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselors and Certified Sex Addiction Therapists - Supervisors. They maintain a private practice in Madison, MS with offices in Southaven, MS and Starkville, MS.

Roe Hunter LPC, CSAT

Roe received his bachelors degree in Social Work from Mississippi State University, and his Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), and a Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist Level 3 (CMAT), Roe’s heart and calling are to treat the whole person. Using client-centered therapy, he specializes in helping clients with addictions as well as those who face step-family issues. Practice-based evidence and client feedback are incorporated into sessions.

Nate Larkin

Author, speaker, and founder of the Samson Society, Nate Larkin will deliver a message and help to moderate the online event.

Aaron Porter

Teacher, coach, and popular co-host of the Pirate Monk Podcast, Aaron Porter will serve as a moderator and emcee of the online event.

Dr. Tom Moucka

The President of Samson House, Dr. Moucka gives an inspiring update on the mission and growth of the Samson Society.
