This is the virtual version of the annual Samson Society Fall Retreat sponsored by Samson House. Pirate Monks will gather on the first weekend in November at the beautiful Lakeshore Camp and Retreat Center in Eva, Tennessee, about 2 hours west of Nashville. Unfortunately, the realities of the Covid-19 Pandemic have forced us to restrict attendance at that live event to 100 participants, including presenters. BUT thanks to the capabilities of modern technology, we are able to present an Online Version of the Fall Retreat. This event will make it possible for Samson guys from around the world interact with all of the presenters and create their own group experiences.
This year we are privileged to hear from special guest John Lynch, whose Two Roads message, along with books such as On My Worst Day and The Cure and his contributions to The Heart of Man movie, have impacted thousands of men and women around the world.
Nashville singer/songwriter Andy Gullahorn communicates the hard-won practical wisdom of recovery with humor, grace, and musical virtuosity. He will lead a workshop and perform a live concert.
Kaka Ray, a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified neurotherapist, is back to explain the brain science of trauma and addiction and present new options for treatment.
Teacher, coach, and popular co-host of the Pirate Monk Podcast, Aaron Porter will lead a workshop and serve as a moderator and emcee of the online event.
Author, speaker, and founder of the Samson Society, Nate Larkin will lead a workshop and serve as a moderator and emcee of the online event.
